What does carpet cleaning cover in Dundalk?

In Dundalk, carpet cleaning from Xtreme Cleans means hot water extraction powered by a truck-mounted unit parked outside, applied to wall-to-wall carpet and stairs. Each visit follows 4 steps: inspect, pre-treat and brush, extract, then groom, deodorize and dry.

The process is often called steam cleaning, though the work is done by hot water and suction. Solution is pushed into the pile and pulled back out in the same pass, carrying the loosened soil with it, while the machine itself stays in the van outside.

Inspect the fiber, the traffic lanes, the spots and any pet damage before water touches the carpet.
Pre-treat the soil, then work it loose with a counter-rotating brush that scrubs the pile in two directions.
Extract with the truck-mounted unit. The machine stays in the van; only the hoses come inside.
Groom the pile, apply deodorizer and set air movers to speed drying.

Housing in Dundalk is mostly single-family homes and townhomes, built largely in the 1950s–1980s, and in those homes the carpet usually sits in bedrooms, family rooms and on the stairs. Every solution used is Green Seal GS-37 certified, a third-party standard for lower-toxicity cleaning products. The same visit covers nylon, polyester, olefin and berber loop carpet. For the full sequence, read our hot water extraction guide.

How much does carpet cleaning cost in Dundalk?

In Dundalk, 3 areas of carpet cost $199. The price includes pre-treatment, brush agitation, truck-mounted extraction, deodorizer and drying with air movers; stairs and pet-urine treatment are quoted separately, so the written quote lists each line before booking.

Job	Price
3 areas (pre-treatment, brush scrub, extraction, deodorizer, drying)	$199
1–2 areas, or 5 or more areas	Written quote
Stairs	Per flight, quoted
Pet-urine treatment	Quoted separately
Loveseat · sofa · sectional, same visit	$125 · $149 · $249

Pet-urine treatment uses Bio Release, an enzyme and bacterial digester made by Bridgepoint Systems, and it is priced on top of the 3-area package. No deposit is taken, and nothing is added at the door without your agreement.

The quote is built from the number of areas, never from square footage. A sofa or sectional can be added at the per-piece rates on upholstery cleaning in Dundalk; the full carpet cleaning price breakdown explains the rest.

How long does carpet cleaning take to dry in Dundalk?

Dundalk carpet is ready to walk on 2 to 4 hours after an Xtreme Cleans visit, because truck-mounted extraction recovers most of its rinse water. A rental or portable machine typically leaves the same carpet damp for 6 to 12 hours.

The crew is typically on site for 1 to 2 hours on a 3-area job, longer for more areas or heavier soil; the arrival itself is booked as a time window. Maryland humidity is the main thing that stretches drying, and central air or a couple of fans offsets it, as set out in carpet drying in a Maryland summer. The water a rental machine leaves behind is the subject of which cleans better, professional or rental.

Method, price and drying are covered. What follows is where Dundalk sits in the service area, why people book, and how the booking works.

Do you cover Dundalk?

Yes. Dundalk (ZIP 21222) is inside the Xtreme Cleans service area in Baltimore County, roughly 18 straight-line miles southeast of the Owings Mills base. Crews travel there on the same terms and at the same price as everywhere else served.

Dundalk is in Baltimore County, ZIP 21222.
Housing: mostly single-family homes and townhomes, largely from the 1950s–1980s.

The Baltimore County carpet cleaning page lists all 63 communities covered in the county. Nearby towns with their own pages:

Every county and town served is listed on carpet cleaning in Maryland.

Why do Maryland homeowners in Dundalk book carpet cleaning?

Four triggers bring most Dundalk bookings: darkened traffic lanes, pets, allergies and a move in or out. The Carpet and Rug Institute sets the professional cleaning interval at 12 to 18 months, and busy or pet homes need it sooner.

Carpet in Dundalk's single-family homes and townhomes takes a full Maryland year: tree pollen in spring, humidity that keeps fibers damp through summer, and de-icing salt tracked in all winter. Stairs and the path from the front door show it first.

Xtreme Cleans has been family-run since 2014, carries a $4M ERIE insurance policy and has cleaned 900+ buildings. Customers have left 700+ five-star reviews across Google, Facebook, Yelp and Nextdoor, and Google alone shows 4.9 from 357 reviews. Pet accidents and mystery spots

The problem: Tough stains — pet accidents and unexplained spots.
The result: The customer says the carpets looked nearly brand new.

“I had some tough stains I didn’t think would come out—pet accidents, mystery spots from who we don’t know—but when they finished, the carpets looked nearly brand new. What really impressed me was their attention to detail. They didn’t rush, explained their process, and even gave me tips to keep the carpets looking fresh between cleanings.”

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Xavier arrived at the beginning of the stated time window and went to work right away. He was very professional and focused on his work. He did an excellent job cleaning the carpets. I asked him to clean one small area again when he finished all the rooms; he didn’t hesitate to do it. It’s a spot at the foot of a recliner on a 20 year old carpet, and he got it cleaner than expected in the first attempt. It was even better after the second pass. He also made sure to ask if I’d like to inspect all areas to ensure they were cleaned to my satisfaction, which they all were. He politely explained that an invoice would be sent via text, to be followed by this rating/survey request. I am very happy to complete this for both Xavier and Xtreme Cleans. Their communication throughout the process was excellent, including arrival time expectations. We will 100% use Xtreme Cleans again for any services they offer that we need. We tipped Xavier a well earned 20% cash tip. As a real estate agent, I will not hesitate to recommend Xtreme Cleans to clients!
